UP FOR AUCTION is this WONDERFUL Sewing Machine Singer Featherweight 222k in excellent working condition. Free Arm Convertible

This litle baby has been thoroughly serviced, the motor runs fast and strong, the carrying case is in excellent condition with not wear at all. The wiring is in excellent shape, the oil pan cover has its purple absorbing pad like new and the Speed controller is an original singer part Made in the USA 110-120Volts 0.7 amperes.

The gears, hook and bobbin case are in excellent condition. The stop motion knob looks like new, the thumb screws are rust free, the thumb screw that holds the free arm extension bed has its bright golden tone. A new light bulb, belt and rubber feet have been installed

This wonderful machine does a beautiful stitch and works just like it did 53 years ago. The finish is shiny, the Gold decals are near perfect and the hinges and locks are clean and shiny too.

Ready to be used in the USA and Canada

SPECIAL FEATURES:

This lovely piece of history has a removable bed extension converting machine into a Free-Arm for easier application of sleeves, cuffs or hard to reach seaming.

The feed-dog can be lowered to enable the free motion for Darning or Embroidering

Graduated throat plate to adjust fabric

Original 110 volts, 0.4 amps. Featherweight Motor made in the USA with the "S" in a circle

Sews forward and reverse just like the big ones do.

As any other Vintage item this lovely 222k has a couple of dings and a little blemish on the throat plate but of course these will not affect its performance at all in any way

OVERALL THIS LITLE BABY 222K IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND IN TOP OPERATING CONDITION THAT YOU WILL BE THRILLED ONCE YOU GET IT OUT OF THE PACKAGE
