Bead-Tailed Dove
6 1/4" Tall, 10 1/2" Long
Bead-Tailed Dove is an original, hand-crafted work of art by Dylan and Jo.
Bead-Tailed Dove is signed and dated by the artists-- Dylan and Jo.
Like each of our creations, Bead-Tailed Dove is entirely hand painted.
She is made from muslin that has been painted and sanded and
painted and sanded again. This gives the fabric a wonderfully
rich patina that feels kinda like old leather. Her wings are button
jointed, allowing them to be posed. She’s attached to a hardwood
dowel that is anchored into a wooden base.
Her tail is made of fancy pipe cleaners with various beads on them.
Art loves company.
