This beautifully preserved flute was made by the Auguste Bonneville workshop in Paris early 1900's. It is #3271 and in nearly perfect condition. It plays great with a rich dark and BIG sound. It was recently restored by the esteemed David Chu with Pisoni Deluxe pads. Registers and articulation very quick and responsive. Scale is A=438 and tuning and intervals quite good. It is all original: silver plated maillechort, French open hole, inline G, C foot, original steel springs, original washers and spuds, standard Bb shake, plays well at 440-442, uncut headjoint, crown has mint definition. Original double case, works with 2 clasps, has place for key but it doesn't have one. One piece left hand rib, teardrop D# and pinned footjoint. One minor blemish, a fine scratch about 3mm on the back of the center joint between the D and E keys, which cannot be removed. Mechanism is tight and in fantastic condition, seems never played or repaired. An opportunity to own a plated Bonneville that plays terrific and looks fresh from the factory.
