Description:
A lovely English Ironstone Butter Pat in Tea Leaf Copper Lustre pattern. Pat was made by wedgwood & Co ( see photo). Pat dates from 1880s according to stamp used. Pat measure 2 3/4" x 2 3/4". Pat is square in shape with a fluted or pie crimped edge. Butter pat is simple in design with no surface embossing and Tea leaf design in center and lustre band around rim. Piece is in very good shape with no chips, cracks, only crazing and a spot of mild discoloration. A charming piece for any collection. Thanks for looking.
