Really Cool Early Industrial Antique
Employee Time Clock
Made by the (Simplex) Time Recorder Company of Gardner, Massachusetts
As you can see from the pictures, this would be a fanastic restoration project. This clock was gutted a couple of decades ago and outfitted with a simple battery operated clock mechanism. Included in the auction are the two chunks of brass gears that I believe were once an integral part to the machines construction.
Entire piece of equipment measures 51" tall and 18" wide. I was told that it is solid oak. It is heavy but able to be moved by one person.
I rescued this item from a family-owned machine shop in western Connecticut.
Due to the size of this item, I will be offering it for pick up only. I am located in New Milford, CT (06776). If you are unable to travel to pick it up, please contact me and we could discuss delivery options. Cash at pick-up is preferred.
