You just can't look at this vintage Lefton cup and not smile! The
adorable little Blue Bird with its cute little open beak and
side-glancing eyes is so charming! This piece is vintage and in
mint condition, with no chips, flakes, cracks, crazing, etc.. It
even has its original red foil Lefton sticker on the bottom. Also
on the bottom is the green "Geo. Z. Lefton 284" mark. It
stands about 4 3/4" high and the cup is 2 1/2" in diameter (not
including handle).
Everything that the Blue Bird series is famous for is exhibited in this
piece, from the exquisite detailed hand painting of the facial features
and feathers, to the subtle blending of rosy pink cheeks and soft
yellow breast.
