New Caledonia- Herman Moll- 1699. This is a REALLY nice map and it has beautiful hand-colring I think. There is  wormhole ( or hole in the bottom of it that cannot be seen in the mat. It measures 14 x 9.25".  Not knowing where "New Caledonia" was I did find some really interesting info on it on Wikipedia- and another copy of this exact map as an example of New Caledonia, a Scottish settlement in Panama. They call it in history the Darien Scheme.
