ITEM: You are bidding on a vintage bronze clad decorative art deco figural era ash receiver / ashtray . A really great design as seen a flirty jazz baby perched atop a sturdy and handsome polychrome painted pool which acts as the ash receiver. The felt base is marked with the original foil label by the "Armor Bronze Company".
This is a great example well articulated and a rare surviving example of the jazz age art deco decorative arts circa late 1920's early 1930's.
Bronze clad over heavy composition measures 8"deep and 8 1/2" high
CONDITION: VERY GOOD WITH SOME SURFACE WEAR AND A FEW NOT VERY DEEP DENTS OR DINGS IN HER TORSO AREA. NO SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE FORM OR BREAKS OR REPAIRS. ORIGINAL PATINA AND SURFACE AS DESIRED. WEIGHS 3 1/2 LBS.
