Antique
oak wall telephone identified as 'KELLOGG' on the Bakelite mouthpiece
cover. It also it identified as "KELLOGG" Chicago USA on the inside motor of the phone.
The oak dovetailed case,
backboard and writing platform are original. As far as I know (this was my grandparent phone) the case has not been refinished -- it is 100% original -- medium brown mellow patina -- typical antique tiger oak.
All the interior mechanical / electrical works of the phone are intact and original -- a couple of the wires look newer.
On the exterior of the phone,
the Bakelite earpiece has a slight chip out of it -- see picture. All seems to be original.
On the inside, the bell coils, crank
and cradle switch are present and original.
The numbers 2769 are pressed on the lower center of the exterior case, just below the writing platform.
