AN EARLY UNDERGROUND MINERS MINE TAG
For the Bisbee Arizona collectors... This is an original very rare c1920s solid brass "SHATTUCK-DENN MINERS UNDERGROUND MINE TAG"" This tag was used to identify the miner when he was working underground. He would place this tag by his name on a large tally board before going underground and remove the tag when he came to the surface.This excellent tag is about the size of a silver dollar and boldly stamped "SHATTUCK-DENN 518" Items other than paper and photos related to this mine are very rare and sought after.
