this is a wonderful victorian footstool, dating from the mid 1800's.made of walnut wood, it is adjustable so that it will go up or down,according to your desire.the top has been recovered quite some time ago,other than that its original in every respect. it works by turning the knob on the end as you can see in the first picture.there are no chips or cracks that I can see.if not satisfied it may be returned with full money back.it measures appr.20"by 16' by 12'
