Here is a very nice vintage 1950's Western Electric 3 slot payphone.it has been wired with a modular plug connector located in the back that will connect to any ordinary home/business telephone line no special service or equipment required works great, just plug it in and enjoy.I will include a new black cord with it to plug it in.this payphone rings on incoming calls but more of a loud chattering than a conventional bell sound.also has its original handset.nice loud and clear voice quality.the original locks work without keys, will open with just the turn of a flathead screwdriver.it makes ding sounds when coins are dropped, works with or without coins.this original public payphone is in good condition clean for its age but has a few blemishes and signs use over the years.very solid construction made of steel weighs about 30 pounds.
