This wonderful painting measures 27" x 14" with the frame and 11.5" x 24' without the frame. It is original oil on canvas attached to wood panel. The original arts and crafts style arched frame is in good condition and really works great with this painting. On the back is says "The Fountain 1915" and there is a monogram that looks like a JB. No signature on the front. I have seen other paintings similar to this Nouveau style but never one this nice size. The painting surface is in great condition. I would think this was maybe a painting sold at the time of the Pan Pacific Expostion in San Francisco or maybe a mural design. The painting came out of an estate in San Francisco.
