Estate Fresh!! This EMERALITE Banker/Student desk light is in fine condition and dating to the early 1900's time period. There is a very shallow and insignificant surface flake off the side of the green glass shade that is very thin and barely noticeable. Very minor scratches are seen on the green glass, but these are barely noticeable and mentioned for accuracy purposes only. The brass patina is excellent and the lamp has all sorts of gooseneck mechanisms seen on the bottom base and again on the backside by the glass shade. Please see the original brass label found inside the lamp which has a patent date of August 15, 1916 and marked 'Lamp No. 8734, Type K ~ H.G. McFaddin & Co., New York, USA'. It has a turn switch found inside by the bulb. The lamp works absolutely perfectly and is marked on the inside and again on the bottom base. Guaranteed to be vintage and older as described.
