Description: You are bidding on an attractive 3 piece spelter figural clock set. French, circa late 1800s early 1900s the spelter figures with brass name plaque "La Plus Belle Fleche" L & F Moreau mounted on green marble base with inset clock with bell striking movement. L & F Moreau is also signed on the back side of figure of the mantle clock. The vases are also mounted on green marble have both have a lid and a "cup" insert that can transform the vases into candle holders. This 3 piece set is stunning and would look absolutely gorgeous in anyone's home. Starting at $9.99 with no reserve!!
This set is very heavy!! Approximately 35 pounds with all that marble. I normally ship Priority Mail, but have included UPS ground in the shipping calculator. I will work with the winning buyer to figure out the best way to ship this safely and the least expense. I will require insurance and I will have this professionally packed.
Dimensions: Mantle clock: 25" tall, base 14 x 7 1/4"; Vases: 16 3/4" tall, base 6 1/4 x 5 1/2"
Imperfections: The vases are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, etc. The mantle clock has 2 feet in the back that have been broken off which can be soldered very easily. Even with the feet broken off the clock still balances very nicely. I am not a clock expert and there is no clock key to know if the clock still works. The clock face does have a minor crack which I have shown pictures. I have also included pictures of the inner workings of the clock. The little cherub holding the bow, the string of the bow shows a break in the wire, photos have been included. Marble is good and stable, but I do see some cracks and once again, I'm not an expert and don't know if this is normal.
Payment and Shipping:
As of October 20, 2008 I will only be able to accept payments through PayPal, this is a mandated change the Ebay is requiring all sellers to comply. This does not mean that you can't pay through your checking account, you simply have to have a PayPal account that will deduct payment from your checking account. Please email me if you have questions on this new requirement. I'm here to work with you in anyway I can. I ship Priority Mail through the United States Post Office. I will gladly combine shipping and insure any item if the buyer would like to purchase. Everything that I list, I try my best to detail any imperfections, but sometimes I just don't see an imperfection. My policy on this is if it is a glaring mistake that I didn't catch, I will refund your money. But for the most part, you buy "as is". There is a $1.00 charge for handling to help offset the cost of shipping supplies.
