Here for auction is this awesom and exquisite vintage NIPPON VASE. It measures 7 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide at the top solid gold handles. It is hand-painted with lovely pink and mauve Roses with green leaves which I have shown in the many pictures listed. But what makes it so special and stunning is all of the gold trim. The fancy gold designs have outlines of raised gold with rows of gold beads, some small and one row of large beads. The handles are cutout with raised designs in the porcelain. There are 3 mauve petals on each side of the top neck of the vase as well as in each of the fancy gold trim areas as shown in picture #3. Each petal also has gold veins. The top neck has fancy raised gold swirls to add beauty to the vase. This vase is from my collection and has been a cherished vase for over 25 years, one that was always on display and was a wonderful conversational piece. I now pass it on to someone who will also enjoy it's elegant beauty. No chips or cracks but I do believe it had gold trim on the top rim, but it wasn't there when I bought it, so it didn't matter. Buyer to pay actual shipping, no handling or packing fees. Note: flash from camera is the problem shown in picture #7 on the 3rd petal.
International shipping cost will be determine at close of auction.
I am sure you buyers have noticed the large number of Buy Now listings and the Free Shipping. Ebay is giving the seller a flat fee of $.35 in cost to list with Fixed Price. This listing would cost me a great deal to list with a Reserve, but I would probably sell the vase for more that I am listing it at the Buy Now. By listing it with a Buy Now and saving fees, I am able to offer the Free Shipping. But for some reason buyers are not understanding the advantage of this style of listing and don't want to jump in to the listing and buy it. Just thought you buyers should know what is happening. If this vase sells my Final Value Fee will be $14.70 and it will cost the same if the buyer uses Paypal for payment. Wow.
Payment is due within 7 days. Thanks for looking.
