Antique Japanese silk painted screen in very good condition with a repairs on a few hinges, reglued and a light stain on silk. 64" Wx37"H.
A rare fully painted screen with alot of details and activity going on. Most are still lives of fruits and birds. Children and horses are rare on silk screens. Can hang on the wall with the brackets or can sit on the floor or tabletop. Highest quality from this fine estate. Late Tashio period Japan with estate provenance, signed and sealed by the artist.

Wells estate owner of the Homer Laughlin China Company in Newell, WVA. Including pottery, furs,clothing,lamps glass, china and furniture. The Wells were world travelers and had the best of everything in this mansion near East Liverpool, Ohio.
