RARE WMF FIGURAL LADY ART NOUVEAU EPERGNE

Made by the WMF company at the turn of the century, this rare and graceful figure is complete with its original glass trumpet which is amythest in colour at the turned over rim and fades to clear half way down.

The stand is just under 14 inches tall and as you cam see is completely nouveau in its styling with a scantily dressed young lady gently leaning on the bough of the tall plant.

There is a good and clear mark for the WMF company under one of the feet and at the back of the stand there is a small hole drilled to keep the stand steady. Although this hole may not be original it does not detract from the piece and was probably contributary to the glass trumpet still being in perfect condition.

The metal is in its original condition and has an excellent patina.
