The Edward S Curtis Collection
For over a century, Edward S. Curtis's landmark collection The North American Indian has provided one of the most important photographic records of historical, traditional North American Indian culture ever assembled. Published in limited editions between 1907 and 1930, The North American Indian remains one of the most influential sources, and in some cases, the sole source for images that document Native American history, traditions, and customary dress. This CD features ALL of the published photographs from the text volumes as well as the accompanying portfolio plates. Teddy Roosevelt’s forward adds historical zest to the 2,200 images from the Curtis Collection.
Our CD contains high-quality (average size 1024 x 652 pixels) scans of each and every one of the 2,200 photographs from Curtis's The North American Indian! View them with our unique browser software or with standard picture viewing software.
Our viewing software is very easy to use! Just insert the CD into your computer and watch history appear before your eyes!
Works on PC or Mac!

Our Edward S. Curtis Collection is perfect for printing, producing your own graphics, making slideshows, or exploring life as it was lived a hundred years ago!
