This is a lovely Nippon 5 piece condiment set, which includes an underplate, a mayonnaise or jam jar (3 pcs - lid, spoon, jar), and a toothpick holder. The jar, underplate and toothpick are decorated with pink appleblossoms detailed in fine white moriage dots. The rim of the plate, jar lid and toothpick feature borders in blue, gold and white moriage decoration. The spoon has gold decoration, as does the three feet on the toohpick holder. This set is so elegant! It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The ONLY wear anywhere is to the gold decoration on the lid handle of the jar - the rest of the gold is excellent. The jar, plate and toothpick are marked on the underside with the Nippon blue sunrise mark. The underplate measures 6 inches in diameter and 3/8 inches tall. The toothpick measures 2 1/8 inches tall and 1 5/8 inches in diameter. The jar (including lid) measures 2 3/8 inches tall and 2 3/4 inches in diameter at its widest. The spoon is 3 1/8 inches long.
