This is a Victorian era aesthetic style blue transferware child's cup, made in Staffordshire in the late 19th century. The exterior of the cup is completely covered in a bizarre mix of oriental and western motifs, including a reserve depicting a child and dog, and reserves with birds, fruits, flowers, and geometric designs. The interior of the rim is aso decorated with blue transfer. This cup is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks whatsoever. There is no crazing and no discoloration either - it looks unused. There is some mild glaze running on the interior of the cup along the rim, but this is not severe and entirely in the making. The underside has an indiscernable underglaze blue mark. This piece is adorable! It measures a mere 2 " tall and 3" at its widest (to the handle). Please refer to the images.
