Vintage 1956 Econolite Old Mill Motion Lamp RARE

 

This is an old 1956 Motion Lamp that is one of the hardest and most desired to find. It measures 10 ¾” tall and is in good condition. In the Motion Lamp book it reads: Waterfall in upper background flows downward while water cascades over a paddlewheel and embankment then flows downstream. It is stamped THE ECONOLITE CORPORATION-LITHO U.S.A. 1956. It is quite a beautiful sight when lit and working. It has excellent color but if you rub your hand over the outer cylinder you can feel slight waves. If you look closely you can see them but they do not distract from the lamp. I do guarantee it to be an old one. I PUT THE WRONG DESCRIPTION ON THIS LAMP IT IS THE CHURCH SNOW SCENE AND THE MOTION LAMP BOOK READS: SERENE AND RELAXIN. VERY POPULAR WITH COLLECTORS. CHURCH IS PROMINENT AND ITS WINDOWS GLOW WITH ORANGE LIGHT. I AM THINKING OF RELISTING THIS AS I MADE THE MISTAKE.
