REMARKABLE 1920's ART DECO SLIP SHADE CHANDELIER

Up for auction is a REMARKABLE 1920's slip shade chandelier. Signed M.E.P. This just freshly came out of an old farmhouse in Carroll Ohio where it resided for many years. This is very beautiful and catches your eyes the moment you walk into the room! The chandelier is in original condition with beautiful designs and retains the MAGNIFICENT original aged patina. There are flowers going around the frame with colors of reds,yellows, greens, browns and a backround ivory color. The shades are very beautiful and are a honey two tone color. I have taken the shades outside to picture to show you the incredible beauty and details. The shades are in very good condition but there are some minor fleabites on the shades. These are minor and not seen when the chandelier is hung. Also some typical nicking where they fits into the chandelier and also not seen when hung. This does not in any way take away from the beauty of the chandelier and goes completely un-noticed when the chandelier is hung! When lit this is..... ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! The five light creates a beautiful warm lighting. There is a switch to turn the lights off and on and you can have just the bottom night light, three lights or all five lights! This can also be controlled at the wall plate to turn off and on. This is a six light fixture with the main feedwire in the stem being rewired and comes with all mounting hardware for hanging. The chandelier has a hang of 33" and is 20" in diameter. This can be shortened or lengthened which I would gladly do for you if desired. I have taken many pictures for your viewing pleasure and hope I have captured the true beauty of the chandelier for you. This is very beautiful and will be cherished in your period decor!
