Here we have a super vintage chess set from the 70's. Unmarked but with all the design and wear consistent with age. The set is complete. The board is missing on plastic back on the bottom but does not effect performance in any way. The board is made up of layers of lucite (aka acrylic/perspex) between the layers there is some dust and particles that can be seen when held up to light. The piece has general wear from over 30 years of use. Another light issue is on the "v" area of the Bishops on the clear set they have some crazing in the lucite. Board measures 15 by 15 inches. King is 2 7/8 inches tall by 1 inch wide and pawn is 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 inch wide. Thanks for looking!

can be usual wear and patina or age. If you are looking for something
without character please buy new. It is not to say the condition is not
great but we have have some "newbies to modern" disappointed in light
wear and age. We do our best to point out any issues and make every
effort to show you the piece from any angle. Please remember these are
vintage pieces. Payment/shipping expenses to be paid within 7 days of auction end with PayPal
M/O or Check with hold period (7-10days).
We generally use USPS on smalls/International and FEDEX GROUND / DHL
on large items that can be shipped . PAYPAL ITEMS must have tracking. Items are shipped every FRIDAY & sometimes MONDAY
WE ARE GENERALLY SLOW SHIPPERS as we are a one man show in the shipping department.
SHIPPING
may take WEEKS after auction ends (regardless of payment method, Paypal
included) unless previous arrangements have been made. By finding recycled material / used boxes this helps us
keep shipping costs low and helps
us all ecologically in our super waste society. If any of
this is unacceptable or you need your item sooner we can drop it off at a UPS Store or comparable pack & ship. Please let us know so we can estimate
that option for you.
