Thanks- PS a Little Penny Rug history- In the 1800's/Women would gather scraps of wool from their clothing to make penny rugs. Then a penny was used as a template to to get the Nice circle.3 different size templates were made, joined together by blanket stitch, Once in a while a penny was put inside one of these woolen pennies to weigh it done so it would lie flat..Some of them were backed with burlap or feed sacks.
