Antique Georgian Chippendale inlaid mahogany, chest, circa 1780.
A very desirable, diminutive, antique Georgian chest of drawers, mahogany inlaid with ebony and boxwood, circa 1780. The top and the drawer fronts are inlaid with ebony and boxwood stringing, there are four graduated drawers with brass pulls, all the secondary woods are yellow pine, the chest stands on the original bracket feet. The color is good, condition is good, this is a very desirable diminutive size at; 39.5" tall x 37" wide x 21" deep, a rare and important inlaid mahogany Chippendale chest of drawers, circa 1780.
