We are listing this beautiful set of five matching brown mahogany dining chairs. Dating from the 1930s to 1940s, this set of five consists of one arm chair and four side chairs in a unique style - they have almost a shield back shape with better than average center splat that has a detailed flower style carving right in the center of a raised oval panel. They have a flared one-piece back leg, a tapered flared front leg, and are joined together with an above-average turned spindle cross stretcher. The seats have been freshly redone in an antique style fabric with beige and antique white and the chairs have been tightened to insure many days of carefree use.
The overall size of the side chairs are 18.5 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep, 39 inches to the top of the back, and 19.5 inches high to the seat. The armchair, with above-average shapely arms and arm supports, is 20.5 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 41 inches to the top of the shapely back, and 20 inches high to the seat. This is a fantastic looking set that is all set to go into your home.
