The property is located in the Sycan River Area. To get to the property you have to drive through about 15 miles of National Forest! The land stays cool in the summer and is very quiet and peaceful.
The property is loaded with timber. There are huge ponderosa pine trees on the land! The property is approximately 70-80% timbered and the balance is a beautiful meadow. The meadow makes for nice views of visiting wildlife.
The land has is accessed by a series of forest service roads. The roads can be traveled in any most any sport utility vehicle or truck. Access is seasonal. The land is about 900 feet from National Forest. The land is located in a remote area and there are no utilities near the property.
There is an old private logging railroad that was put in sometime in the 1940s through the land but the tracks have since been removed and you can drive along the railroad grade.
There are many recreational opportunities in the area. The land is only about 3500 feet to Merrit Creek (see picture from road below). The land is also about 2 miles to the Sycan River.
