Offered here is a gorgeous heavily gilded Nippon vase decorated with vivid handpainted roses on all sides. Measuring a stately 9 3/4" in height and a bit over 5 1/2" across the widest part of the body, it carries the blue maple leaf Nippon mark dating to the early 1900s. After careful examination, I can guarantee that his handsome piece has no chips, no cracks, has had no restoration and virtually nothing to speak of in the way of wear. Truly an outstanding example!

PERFECT. Implies the piece is free of chips, cracks, or hairlines. Expect reasonable signs of use and age and/or minor original manufacturing flaws.
FLAWLESS: Implies that the piece was originally made without any flaws and is undamaged as outlined under PERFECT. You may expect to see some reasonable signs of use such as normal and usually validating bottom wear, but anything beyond that will not be described as FLAWLESS.
MINT: A word we almost never use, implies that a piece has no flaws, no wear, no sign of use, no damage -- and to all intents and purposes, remains as pristine as the day it was made.

Payment is expected within 10 days after close of listing. In the case of PayPal payments, this means cleared payment. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance. Your purchase will be packed with great care by an expert packer, however, insurance is required on all items. We are always happy to combine shipments so long as it does not jeopardize the safety of items being shipped. Our shipping weight estimate is our best guess based on experience and our method of packing. Sometimes it is a little over and sometimes we absorb a shortage. We do not add anything for handling or packing materials unless required to meet customer specifications beyond our normal practice.A postal calculator is included below for actual postage. Insurance is additional as follows: $1.70 up to $50; $2.15 up to $100; $2.60 from $100.01 to $200; $4.60 up to $300; $5.55 to $400; $6.50 to $500; $7.45 to $600 plus $.95 for every hundred over $600.
Payment is welcome via PayPal, personal check or money order and we are now able to accommodate offline Master Card and Visa. Normal shipping days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday but we will make every effort to accommodate special circumstances. Paypal usually ships within 48 hours of payment, money orders within 48 hours of receipt. Checks may be held for up to 10 days for clearance depending on feedback or prior experience.
