This auction is for a nice antique hand hammered Arts & Crafts/Mission copper vase which we believe to be Stickley Brothers; it is a gourd shape with rolled lip, dove tail seam and deeply impressed neck and collar design that gives the overall piece a Southwestern/Native America feel--a possibly rare shape and design, if not at least very hard to find; it is a nice larger size and fairly squat, measuring about 8 1/4" tall x 8 3/4" wide at the widest point; the base is somewhat concave with an impressed mark of "1:9" (has what looks like a semi-colon between the two numbers); very nicely made with a great old patina that is gained only through true age; would classify it as being in overall very good to nearly excellent condition--has a small, shallow dent on the "front" to the right side of the vase, in the wider section within a portion of the design, which somewhat disguises it from immediate notice; when viewed with the seam at the center back, there is a larger dent on the left side of the vase, it is roughly the size and shape of a man's thumb print with a shallower and smaller (less than dime size) dent just above it; this is seen as a flat spot on the side when viewing the true "front", but vase can be turned slightly to present a nearly perfect appearance; has one or two other lesser ding/dents but overall it is a truly delightful early craftsman piece with nice shape and form!

Our terms are contact within three days of close of auction if not making immediate payment; payment is due within ten days of close auction unless prior arrangements have been made. We welcome international and new bidders, but we do expect you to complete your transaction and follow ebay rules, or appropriate steps are taken; if you have any questions or problems during the transaction, please contact us for cheerful assistance!
Paypal is our preferred payment method, please note that the following guidelines must be met prior to making payment with Paypal: you MUST have a VERIFIED Paypal account; you must make a single payment from one PayPal Account for the item/items; the "ship to" address must be the same as the address you have registered with Paypal and it MUST be a confirmed address (we will NO longer provide drop shipping for transactions in order to qualify for Paypal seller protection). Please contact us promptly if you need an extension of time to complete your Paypal requirements; if payment is made prior to meeting the requirements, it will be returned and the item offered to the next highest bidder.
Our listings generally include several shipping options to allow flexibility in delivery costs; although we prefer to ship by priority mail, we are working our hardest to keep your costs as low as possible--we do not add on handling charges so there are no hidden fees and no surprises for either of us after the auctions close if you have taken time to read our policies. Please note that the least expensive method may often be the slowest and you will need to allow sufficient time for delivery before lodging complaints. If your shipping seems abnormally high at check out, please contact us as we have seen problems with the shipping calculator providing incorret rates and failing to combine shipping properly. We ship on each TUESDAY and FRIDAY; we combine multiple winning auctions ending within seven days of each other to save you $$ on shipping!! |

We do not accept returns unless the listing incorrectly represents the item; all returns must be pre-authorized; all returns must be insured with delivery confirmation. |
