A little background on these maps. Cram's Railway maps are the most sought after Railroad maps in existence. Normally Cram's published their Railway maps without color and added color lines to highlight the rail lines. Sometime in 1895 they issued this handcolored edition for special issue. So while Cram's Railway maps are exceedingly rare, these handcolored ones, are never seen or offered for sale. We were lucky to have obtained this in a private auction and didn't even know it was one of the rare handcolored editions until it arrived. We are passing them on now to our customers at the normal price we sell a normal Cram's Railway map.
